Jacks Holy Communion

In September our family celebrated the First Holy Communion of our son Jack. It was a very special day full of love , laughs and brought some of our nearest and dearest together for a very special day.

Being a photographer I know how important images are of the day but being a mum I know these are days we should also just savour and take in without a camera infront of our face so we left the ceremony up to another professional photographer. It was actually really lovely to be in a church ceremony where everyone is just watching whats going on rather than getting that shot and missing the emotion of the moment.

I just took a handful of images at the reception to capture some memories of the day and I would like to share a couple with you mostly to thank the people who helped make our day very special. It all started with our gorgeous invites, matching candle and beautifully wrapped Bonbonerie that came from the lovely Josie at SEALED WITH LOVE. She was so wonderful to work with and made everything easy. Our wonderful hosts at EL PHOENICIAN restuarant looked after us very well and the food was amazing. The beautiful Laura at Couture Cupcake Creations made our wonderful chocolate mud cake. I have to say it was just divine. Our fabulous magician was from FACE FOCUS kept the kids ( an the adults) entertained for an hour with wonderful tricks and balloon fun.

Thank you so much everyone and thank you to my family and friends who just made our day wonderful by being there. x

The star of the show ( This is his I'm too cool to have my photo taken look so hurry up mum)

Wow - a magician?! I'm feeling like I got a raw deal at my Communion now! LOL. He has grown up so much, Kris. And the girls look completely adorable as usual. :)
