em&femme Design

Im not sure when I became a fan of em&femme designs on facebook but I do remember from the very beginning being in love with her designs and every time I saw a new one pop up in the back of my mind thinking I must order some for my girls as they would come up amazing in a photo. Ilja works from home designing her one of a kind combination of patterns and fabrics, so your guaranteed your clothing is 100% original. Her inspiration comes from her 2 gorgeous daughters as does mine with my little Miss 6 being a very willing model.

When Ilja contacted me about a little project she had going and asked me if i would like to be involved I jumped at the chance. I knew exactly what design I wanted to shoot and the gorgeous Ilja even gave me a bit of creative control over the material. I must say I did find that part all a bit daunting so after choosing the main material I left the rest up to the expert and to be honest it was perfect.

The dress is now a favourite with my little girl. She loves that the sash is reversible so suits both seasons ( you can see both colour sashes below)and she can mix and match her shoes etc to match. My daughter wore it to lunch the next day and then we took of the sash and it made lovely cool sundress for her when we went for a walk along the beach. The sash also adjustable which means we will get a few seasons out of this gorgeous dress.

Ilja is a very talented children's clothing designer who I have enjoyed watching grow bigger and bigger with each new design she comes up with. If you have a little girl in your life you NEED to go have a look at what she has on offer. I promise you will fall in love with her talent too.
